Iron Maiden Best Of On The Way

Veteran metallers Iron Maiden are readying a new greatest hits compilation, with From Fear To Eternity: The Best Of 1990-2010 set for release through EMI on May 23 according to NME.com.

The double-CD album is, obviously, an array of tracks from the past 20 years of the band’s existence – Iron Maiden formed in east London in 1975. The title of the new album is taken from their 1992 single From Fear To Eternity, although that song is not on the album.

This is the band’s fourth greatest hits/best of compilation, their previous being 2008’s Somewhere Back In Time: The Best Of 1980-1989. The band’s last studio album was 2010’s The Final Frontier. The band are currently gearing up for an arena tour of the UK.
