James Blake has confirmed he will return to Australia this year for Splendour In The Grass 2013 after speaking with TheMusic.com.au
James Blake was a hot favorite to make the festival and now that he’s given it the nod of approval, even more light is shed on the line-up. Blake is currently in town thanks to the cats at Secret Sounds who, of course, book Splendour (in fact, you may have even noticed him streaming live on our site for a cheeky Q&A). The short run of dates was suspected to be a bit of a taste test to get fans keen for a bigger show and now he has confirmed this is indeed the case.
When asked “So we’ll see you at Splendour?,” Blake responded “Yes.”
Deap Valley and Wavves will be touring Australia with Secret Sounds also for a promo tour, so those guys are a total shoe in for a SITG confirmation too. Check out the full list of rumours here.
