Jessica Mauboy has announced she’ll hit the road with her full band in tow next year, announcing a run of dates dubbed The Boss Lady tour kicking off in late March.
The multi-ARIA Award winning singer and songwriter will perform headline dates in Canberra, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, with support from Caiti Baker. According to a press release, Mauboy’s “anthology”-style sets will see her performing cuts from across her back catalogue, from 2008 solo debut Been Waiting up to new music that’s set to arrive later this year.
“I am so excited to announce The Boss Lady Tour mob! I can’t wait to see you all, with my band doing what we love the most. We’ll be playing all the fan favourites and I can’t wait to share new music on the tour too,” Mauboy commented in an accompanying statement.
“We’ve planned for the tour to be in the new year, so for the time being we continue to be safe. Everyone’s health is the number one priority as we navigate through these challenging times. Stay safe and love you all mob.”
