Yo, Jimmy Eat World fans! We just got word on who’ll be lubing up the stage for the nineties alt-rock ledgehammers on their upcoming Aussie Tour and we’re gonna go ahead and say it’s a bit of a curveball…
Newcastle melodic punk/hardcore types Trophy Eyes have scored the big gig and will be supporting Jim Adkins & co on all of their Down Under (East Coast) dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Bris Vegas.
It’s the latest in a trend of UNFD bands popping up as supports for big international touring acts as the metalcore/punk label continues to hoist its flagship bands into the mainstream. IMO Trophy Eyes supporting JEW makes more sense than In Hearts Wake supporting Slipknot and Lamb Of God but ya know, each to their own.
Jimmy Eat World are touring our shores plugging their new album Integrity Blues, while Trophy Eyes are riding high off the success of their own excellent 2016 LP Chemical Miracle.
