Josh Pyke Announces ‘Lone Wolf’ 2014 Australian Tour Dates

The Lone Wolf himself Josh Pyke has announced he will be once again packing up the old timber and steel and heading out into familiar territory – the Australian touring circuit. The news comes hand in hand with the latest official offering from Pyke, his brand new single The Beginning And The End Of Everything.

Those of you who have been paying attention will recognise the new single as the title track from Pyke’s fourth and current album, which was released to overwhelming approval earlier in the year. The track holds a special place with the songsmith, who explained it was penned while on the round in support of previous album Only Sparrows, and was the genesis for the rest of the record:

“The Beginning And The End Of Everything is the first song I wrote for the new record, and when I’d completed it, I felt surprised to find that in fact the very thing I feared enough to write a song about, (a period of writers block) had vanished, even as I was referring to it in a song, more irony”.

Having toured previously in support of the album, you can bet Pykie will be in fine form as he does what he does best at a venue near you throughout February and March.
