Chiodos Announce First Australian Tour In Over A Decade

Dust off the eyeliner and prepare to scream every word to ‘Baby, You Wouldn’t Last A Minute On The Creek’, because Chiodos are officially returning to Australia for the first time in more than a decade.

The Michigan post-hardcore icons will make their long-awaited return Down Under this November, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut album All’s Well That Ends Well by performing the record live in full.

They’ll also be bringing some friends along for the nostalgia-fuelled ride, with US post-hardcore crew Rain City Drive and Melbourne’s The Beautiful Monument joining them across all five dates.

The tour will kick off at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday, 21st November, before hitting Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide and wrapping up at Perth’s Magnet House on Saturday, 28th November.

Originally released in 2005, All’s Well That Ends Well helped establish Chiodos as one of the most distinctive acts to emerge from the mid-2000s post-hardcore scene.

Combining chaotic breakdowns and synths with haunting piano, huge melodies and Craig Owens’ unmistakable combination of soaring clean vocals and throat-shredding screams, the record spawned enduring fan favourites including ‘Baby, You Wouldn’t Last A Minute On The Creek’ and ‘The Words “Best Friend” Become Redefined’.

Owens also re-recorded the album in its entirety in 2025 to mark its 20th anniversary.

Chiodos emerged from hiatus in 2024 after being invited to perform at When We Were Young, subsequently returning to the road for a run of sold-out shows. They’ve since kicked open another new chapter with the release of their latest single, ‘TAPDAT’.

Their forthcoming Aussie dates will mark the band’s first visit to our shores since 2015.

Meanwhile, Rain City Drive will be making a speedy return following their debut Australian headline tour earlier this year. The Florida outfit have amassed a sizeable international following with their blend of post-hardcore heaviness and polished melodic hooks, touring alongside the likes of Dance Gavin Dance, Set It Off, From Ashes To New and Memphis May Fire.

Rounding out the bill are Melbourne favourites The Beautiful Monument, who’ll arrive armed with their forthcoming third studio album Euphoric Thriller, due out Friday, 7th August.
