Kanye West Explains Why He Thinks Donald Trump Is “Inspiring” In New Video

Kanye West has finally given an explanation as to why he’s thrown his support behind Donald Trump in a new video.

He gave fans an insight into the making of his latest track ‘Ye Vs. The People’ featuring T.I., going even further into the meaning behind the song which openly discussed his viewpoint on the US president.

“I did not wear that hat to hurt them,” Kanye says about wearing Trump’s ‘Make America Great Again’ hat – a move that caused many in the hip-hop community to respond.

“Half the shit Trump does I don’t agree with.”

T.I. then pushed him about what he actually does agree with and he replied, “The ability to do what no one said you could do. To do the impossible is the most inspiring thing to me.”

Yeezy further said that wearing the hat is a, “fight for equality.”

It’s the first time he’s directly addressed exactly what he finds so appealing about the US president. He returned to Twitter just weeks ago and has spent his time posting pictures of signed ‘Make America Great Again’ caps and expressing his admiration of conservative thinkers like Candace Owens.

He also announced that he’s due to drop two new albums in June. One is a solo record and the other is a collaborative album with Kid Cudi. Over the weekend, he trolled everyone with a gibberish new song ‘Lift Yourself’.
