Kanye West‘s eccentricities often make headlines, whether he’s throwing a miniature Coachella for his daughter’s first birthday or releasing one of the most bizarre music videos of all time. But it seems Yeezy doing things Yeezy’s way also extends to how he stores and presents his 21 Grammy Awards.

During a recent appearance on BBC Radio 1 with Nick Grisham (via Complex), West’s wife, reality star Kim Kardashian, revealed that the often boastful rapper and producer prefers to keep one of the US music industry’s most prestigious awards randomly sorted in a sock drawer in the couple’s laundry room.

“Kanye’s not big on, like, putting his Grammys up and stuff like that,” Kardashian told the host. “They literally were like in the laundry room, just randomly. In a sock drawer and all around. So, I’ve gathered them all, so maybe I can talk him into [putting them into] one of our offices or something.”

However, considering West’s attitude towards the Grammys since his universally acclaimed 2010 album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, was snubbed in the Best Album category, the sock drawer may be an appropriate place for the rapper, who recently launched his Australian tour, to keep the trophies.

Even after West’s single New Slaves was nominated for Best Rap Song and his album Yeezus was nominated for Best Rap Album, the rapper was still unsatisfied. “Yeezus is the top one or two album on every single list, but only gets two nominations from the Grammys,” he told a Phoenix crowd last year.

West continues his Australian tour at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre tonight and Adelaide fans can expect something special. The rapper’s recent performances have garnered praise as some of his best ever, with a recent performance at the 2014 Made In America Festival singled out in particular.
