Kanye West Makes Surprise Appearance With Jay-Z At BBC 1 Hackney Weekend

Kanye West has made a surprise appearance at BBC 1’s Hackney Weekend in London – joining headliner and ‘Throne’ partner Jay-Z on stage during his set.

Ye’ was on stage for not just one song – he hung about for 30 minutes, as the duo performed tracks from their collaboration album Watch the Throne including Otis, No Church in the Wild, Murder to Excellence and Niggas in Paris.

The performance was the first live performance to be professionally filmed for television, with BBC (naturally) showing the set in their programming. Jay-Z’s wife, Beyonce, was also in the crowd, moshing with a handful of very lucky punters up the front during Niggas in Paris (skip to the 20.55 mark for that).
