Kasey Chambers Announces Extensive 2025 Australian Tour

Kasey Chambers has unveiled one of the most exhaustive tour schedules of her entire career, launching her new album Backbone with a 30-date run that takes her to every Australian state and territory – starting with Tamworth in January and ending with Toowoomba in June. The full list of Australian tour dates, as well as ticketing information, can be accessed below.

“I can’t wait to be sharing some new songs along with my old favourites, and the stories and secrets behind where they came from like never before,” said Chambers in a press statement regarding the upcoming tour. “For me, the Backbone tour already feels like the live soundtrack to my life.” She will be joined by her long-serving backing band on the run: Her father Bill and partner Brandon Dodd on guitar, bassist Jeff McCormack and drummer Syd Green.

Chambers announced Backbone, her ninth solo album and 17th overall in her career, back in August. It is set for release on Friday, October 4th – the same week that her new memoir, Just Don’t Be A Dickhead (And Other Profound Things I’ve Learned), is set to be published. “I worked with my favourite musicians, and I sang about every beautiful, joyous, embarrassing and tough thing I’ve gone through,” said Chambers of Backbone at the time of its announcement. “Everything that’s gone into making me this person. Even before anyone has heard this album, I feel like I’ve achieved something.”
