Katy Perry is reportedly in negotiations to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 10, just days before the release of her new album, 143. A source told The Sun that Perry is eager to return to the VMAs stage, which would mark her first performance at the event since 2019.
“Katy is deep in talks to make her big return to the VMAs stage,” the source said. “Details are still being ironed out, but she’s a huge star and bosses are determined to lock in the deal.” Perry has been traveling worldwide to promote her new single, and a VMAs performance would further solidify her status as a pop powerhouse.
