Katy Perry’s New Album ‘143’ Features Star-Studded Collaborations Including Kim Petras and 21 Savage

Katy Perry is set to release her new album, 143, featuring an impressive lineup of collaborations with Kim Petras, 21 Savage, and more. The pop star has just unveiled the tracklist and released a new single, “Lifetimes,” inspired by her bond with her three-year-old daughter, Daisy.

Perry describes “Lifetimes” as a tribute to eternal love, saying it reflects the deep connection she feels with her daughter. “It’s about finding that one deep and satisfying love of your life,” she explains. “A soulmate doesn’t always have to come in the form of a partner. It can come in all different ways: a child, a best friend, a pet.”

The album will also feature collaborations such as “Gimme Gimme” with rapper 21 Savage, “Gorgeous” with Kim Petras, and “Artificial” with JID. Viral TikToker Doechii will join Perry on “I’m His, He’s Mine.”

Following the mixed reception of her lead single “Woman’s World,” which struggled to make an impact on the charts, Perry says her new music is a celebration of her femininity and sexuality. She defended her approach to the Daily Star, saying, “I’m owning my sexuality. I am standing in it, and I feel really responsible. I don’t feel ashamed.”

143 promises to bring the dance-pop energy reminiscent of her earlier hits. Perry says the album is divided into three parts, with influences from “Dark Horse,” “Walking on Air,” and her classic tracks like “Hot N Cold.”

The album is Perry’s first since 2020’s Smile, which reached number five on the UK albums chart.
