The one and only Kelly Rowland has revived two of her biggest hits at the 60th Annual TV Week Logie Awards on the Gold Coast, to some mixed reviews.
The Voice judge teamed up with loop artist and The Voice 2018 winner Sam Perry for a remix of Destiny’s Child’s 2001 hit ‘Survivor’, which segued into David Guetta’s ‘When Love Takes Over’.
Given the odd collaboration and Rowland’s reliance on a backing track towards the end of the performance, there were some mixed reviews…

Kelly, when pretending to lip sync you still need to keep the mic to your mouth #Logies

I'm a Kelly Rowland stan but that performance was a mess and she needs to now stop trying to make Sam Perry happen as lovely as he is. #Logies #Logies2018

But some viewers still enjoyed the performance, or placed the blame squarely on Sam Perry:
#TVWeekLogies can we let Kelly Rowland sing "When Love Takes over" again ? I believe she had some sort of stage invader behind her that was screaming and ruining the song #Logies

This year’s Logies also featured a performance from Jess Glynne and Dan Caplen, who performed Rudimental’s ‘These Days’. Watch both performances, below.
The award ceremony saw Grant Denyer take home the Gold Logie for most popular personality on Australian television.
Kelly Rowland — who gave Delta Goodrem a lap dance last year, remember? — released her latest studio album Talk a Good Game in 2013.
