Kendrick Lamar has finally unveiled his headlining shows for December 2025, after being announced earlier this year as the marquee performer on the returning Spilt Milk line-up. The shows will take place in Sydney and Melbourne as part of Lamar’s ongoing Grand National world tour in support of last year’s GNX, and will mark his first-ever headlining stadium shows locally. Lamar’s updated tour schedule, along with pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.
Lamar last toured Australia in December 2022 as part of The Big Steppers Tour, which came in support of his previous studio album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. He was joined on the tour by his cousin, Baby Keem, following the multi-platinum success of their collaborative single ‘Family Ties’. At the time of writing, the opening act for his headlining Australian shows has not been announced. In North America, however, Lamar has been joined by his ‘Luther’ and ‘All The Stars’ collaborator SZA as a joint headliner. SZA last toured Australia in April 2024 on her debut arena tour.
Kendrick Lamar – ‘Squabble Up’
The Pulitzer-winning rapper is the latest artist from the Spilt Milk line-up to announce their own shows away from the festival for this December. Others who have branched out thus far have included American pop artist d4vd (making his Sydney Opera House debut), New York alt-pop singer Sombr, New Jersey TikToker-turned-popstar Nessa Barrett and ‘Friday’ singer Rebecca Black.

A pre-sale for the headlining dates will commence on Thursday, June 12th at staggered times: 9am AEST for Sydney, and 11am AEST for Melbourne. General sale will then follow on Monday, June 16th – again at 9am AEST for Sydney and 11am AEST for Melbourne. Both can be accessed via the show’s official promoter, Live Nation Australia.
