Kimbra In Talks To Tour Australia Again In 2018

UPDATE: Kimbra Announces 2018 Australian Tour Dates

ORIGINAL STORY: It doesn’t look like we’ll have to wait very long to catch Kimbra performing live down under again!

The Kiwi avant-pop sensation is readying the release of her third album Primal Heart later this month, and speaking with Music Feeds contributor Riley Fitzgerald today she revealed a stack of new Aussie tour dates won’t be too far behind.

“It’s a big priority for me to get back down to Australia, because it is a place where I really set up my career and established my fanbase,” she said.

“I feel a real connection to my fans out there, because I feel they’ve followed things from the start and really get my whole journey.

“So yes, absolutely it will happen. I can’t confirm any dates just yet but we’re already talking about later in the year getting back out there for a good run. So watch this space.”

Kimbra last performed in Australia as part of Melbourne’s SUPERSENSE festival in August 2017, but hasn’t toured the country in a headline capacity for a good few years.

Produced by Kimbra and John Congleton, Primal Heart (due out 20th April) features the previously released Skrillex collab ‘Top Of The World’, comeback single ‘Everybody Knows’ and fresh cut ‘Human’, which you can take for a spin below.
