Klaxons Hint At Break Up With “Last Headline Tour”

English indie outfit Klaxons might be calling it quits. The band took to Twitter to break the news that their upcoming international dates will serve as the Klaxons’ final headlining tour.

“After what’s been nearly 9 bananas years we’d like to let you know that we’ve decided the upcoming dates will be our last headline tour,” tweeted Klaxons on Friday, 24th October, adding an emoji peace sign and love heart.

NME reports that a spokesperson for the London trio declined to confirm if the tweet meant we’ve definitely seen and heard the last of Klaxons. Following their initial tweet, the band posted again, assuring fans they would honour upcoming scheduled dates in Mexico, Russia and Japan.

Klaxons also have pending dates in their native UK and across Europe, touring behind their third, and perhaps final, studio album Love Frequency, released June this year.

Klaxons have not divulged their reasons for their decision. You can check out Klaxons’ tweets below.
