Korn Release New Clips From ‘Reconciliation’ Documentary

Korn have released two more snippets from forthcoming documentary Reconciliation, which deal with the reintroduction of guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch and is set to be included with the deluxe edition of their new album The Paradigm Shift.

The first of the new snippets, dubbed Writing Sessions, features talking head style interviews with the band members, gauging each of their responses to once again working with their old bandmate in the studio on the new album.

The most affected by the situation seems to have been drummer Ray Luzier who speaks of the sessions in glowing terms, explaining it didn’t take much of the call-and-response guitar work between James ‘Munky’ Shaffer and Head to illustrate that The Paradigm Shift was going to be big.

The second clip delves deep into the new material, once again using interviews with the band to maintain the narrative. Here members talk about the decision behind using producer Don Gilmore and the vital role he played in harnessing the authentic Korn sound. This particular clip also contains several clues as to what we can expect from production side of things from the new album.

The new videos follow on from the previously released clip, which focused more on the events leading to Head’s return. You can check out all three of the videos below, and stay tuned to Music Feeds next week, when we’ll premiere the latest video in the series!

The Paradigm Shift will be released Down Under on Friday, 4th October with the band following it up with live dates in Australia early next year as part of Soundwave 2014.
