Lady Gaga has seemingly confirmed her engagement to boyfriend Michael Polansky. The news came from a recent video shared on Instagram, where Gaga was seen speaking with French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics. During the conversation, Gaga introduced Polansky as “my fiancé.”
The couple had previously fueled engagement rumors when Gaga was spotted with a large diamond on her left ring finger in April. Despite the speculation, they had not officially confirmed their engagement until now.

Gaga, 38, and Polansky, 46, were first linked in December 2019. They reportedly took a break early in 2023, with sources suggesting that Gaga wanted marriage and children, while Polansky felt unprepared. Nevertheless, they remained friends and rekindled their relationship in August 2023 after a year apart.
Before Polansky, Gaga was engaged to Taylor Kinney from 2015 to 2016 and to Christian Carino from 2017 to 2019.
Insiders have previously noted that Polansky provides Gaga with stability, despite her global fame. A source told Us Weekly in 2021 that Polansky is “beyond smitten” with Gaga and that their relationship is unaffected by her celebrity status. “When they’re together, they are always touching, giggling, and it’s obvious they really love each other.”
Gaga recently performed at the Olympic Opening Ceremony in Paris and hinted on social media that she might treat fans to a performance from her upcoming album, LG7, before leaving the city. She posted, “I’m so deeply touched by my French fans this week outside the hotel – I’m gonna come out and say goodbye tonight with a few seconds of #LG7.”
