Lady Gaga’s two French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav were recovered on Friday after being stolen in Los Angeles. The dogs were stolen from Gaga’s dog walker who was shot on Wednesday while trying to protect them.
Captain Jonathan Tippett, commanding officer of the elite Robbery-Homicide Division said the dogs were recovered around 6pm on Friday.
A woman, who police say seems to be ”uninvolved and unassociated” with the theft dropped the dogs off at LAPD’s Olympic Community Police Station.
Ryan Fischer, Gaga’s dog walker was walking her three dogs on Wednesday. He struggled with two men over the dogs before being shot.
The men left with the two dogs Koji and Gustav. Lady Gaga offered a $500,000 USD reward for the dogs at the time.
In an Instagram post Gaga said, “I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”
Captain Jonathan Tippett says Fischer is expected to survive his injuries.
