Leftover Crack Australian Tour 2009

After years of rumours, New York crust-punk-metal-ska act Leftover Crack finally has their plane tickets to Australia. Political, controversial and hardworking, they’ve managed to tour and spread their message all over the world, so it’s about time they’ve flown over the pacific so we can witness the grandeur.

Forming in 1999, and aptly dubbed “Crack rock steady”, LOC have written two remarkable LP’s, three equally amazing EPs and a handful of split releases with some of punk rock’s most influential artists. With all the controversial antics that surround LOC aside, they’ve always sent a clear message of anti-racism, anti-sexism and anti-homophobia but still finding a way to be offensive to a government they don’t see eye to eye with.

Unfortunately not every member of LOC can make it to Australia. Stepping in is special guest guitarist Frank D of Star Fucking Hipsters, who has hinted at playing a couple of songs off their catalogue as well as pre-LOC, Choking Victim.

Flying all over Australia, and a special show in Auckland, LOC are set to play an All Ages/Licensed gig in Sydney at the Bald Faced Stag on Monday the 16th of November with very special guests Celtic punk Sydney locals The Rumjacks who’ve just released their second EP ‘Sound As A Pound’, Crack Rock Steady Sydney Legends Chaz.H.Scally who’ve reformed for the show, Qld’s longest standing punk rock heroes The Black Market and Melbourne sensations Damn The Empire who have just released their debut album ‘With Trends Like These…’ on Pee Records.

11th November – Bald Faced Stag
