Lil Durk is behind bars after reportedly being arrested on charges relating to a murder-for-hire plot.
As the BBC reports, the Grammy Award-winning rapper, born Durk Devontay Banks, was arrested by US Marshalls in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Thursday and is currently being held without bail.

The arrest coincides with the indictment of five members of Durk’s Only the Family (OTF) hip-hop collective in Los Angeles, who are accused of scheming to kill rival rapper, Quando Rondo.
This indictment links back to the fatal 2022 shooting of Rondo’s cousin, and to escalating tensions following the 2020 death of OTF member King Von.
The Chicago Sun-Times has reported that the new indictment against the five men alleges that an unnamed co-conspirator offered “money and lucrative music opportunities with OTF” to anyone who took part in killing Quando Rondo.
Lil Durk founded OTF in 2010 and the group are at the centre of the city’s drill rap scene.
