Lily Allen is plotting a musical comeback for 2025, with the UK alt-pop icon “trying to manifest” a new album for later this year.
Allen flagged her dreams to return to music on the latest episode of Miss Me?, a podcast that she co-hosts with British TV presenter Miquita Oliver.

“Firstly, I’m going to go and get my head straight for a bit,” she said, outlining her plans for 2025. “I’m doing a little bit of work on myself in this beginning period of the year, then I’m going to do some more writing, then I’m going to do my play, hopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year. That would be nice, wouldn’t it?”
She continued: “It’s not real, I’m just trying to manifest it now,” before adding: “Listen, I’ve got this. We’re bringing Lily Allen back in 2025.”
It’s been almost seven years since Allen released her most recent album, 2018’s No Shame, which peaked at #8 here in Australia. She last performed live on our shores the next year in 2019, headlining Tasmania’s Party In The Paddock and playing a string of headline shows.
A year later, she went on to marry Stranger Things star David Harbour at a ceremony in Vegas, officiated by – yep – an Elvis impersonator.
Wie’ll keep you up to speed with any new updates on Allen’s musical resurgence as we hear ’em.
