Lime Cordiale Announce First-Ever Symphony Orchestra Tour

Lime Cordiale are supersizing their Australian 2025 live itinerary, teaming up with a handful of symphony orchestras for a stack of very special concert hall tour dates across the length and breadth of the nation.

The indie-pop sibling duo will kick things off at Hobart’s Wrest Point on Tuesday, 27th August backed by the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, before playing a double-header at Hammer Hall with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. They’ll then stage a three-night-stand at the iconic Sydney Opera House with the SSO, and then wrap up in Perth with two night’s at Riverside Theatre with the West Australian Symphony Orchestra.

Lime Cordiale – ‘When I’m Losing It’

“With a cello-playing mum, we grew up playing classical clarinet and trumpet,” Lime Cordiale explained in a press statement. “The band came together while Oli was studying at the Conservatorium, and playing in concert bands and orchestras was a big part of Lime Cordiale’s beginnings.”

“This is a major bucket-list tick for us. It’s scary and intimidating, but our inner band nerds are all for it! We can’t wait to dive into some epic orchestral arrangements of our songs.”

Collaborating with Lime Cordiale on these once-in-a-lifetime performances are symphony conductor, Vanessa Scammell (Birds of Tokyo, The Cat Empire) and arranger, Alex Turley (Genesis Owusu, Dan Sultan).

Together with band members Oliver and Louis Leimbach, they’ve dived into the Lime Cordiale catalogue and created a set list with a symphonic twist, featuring over 80 orchestral musicians live on stage.

The news comes hot on the heels of Lime Cordiale announcing a huge separate regional Australian tour for 2025, which will see them headline 14 intimate venues across regional Australia this April and May, armed with their chart-topping 2024 album, Enough Of The Sweet Talk.
