Lime Cordiale’s ’14 Steps To A Better You’ Wins ‘Australian Album of the Year’ At The 2020 J Awards

This year marks the triple J‘s 16th annual J awards, and today they’ve announced the list of artists and other music industry professionals who’ve walked away with awards.

Lime Cordiale walked away as the big winners taking out the award for ‘Australian Album of the Year’ with their record, 14 Steps To A Better You.

The award for ‘Australian Music Video of the Year’ was taken home by Tasman Keith for his video for ‘Billy Bad Again’, directed by Joey Hunter.

JK-47 took home the ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’ award, off the back of his debut album Made For This. He’d previously won Unearthed’s 2020 NIMAs competition.

The legendary Archie Roach took out the ‘Double J Artist of the Year’ award, thanks in no small part to the re-recordings and special editions of his seminal debut album Charcoal Lane.

Finally, the team behind Isol-Aid, which started at the beginning of the pandemic and has kept it up every Saturday since, took home the ‘Done Good Award’.

The awards land as part of Aus Music Month, and the winners have been announced the day before Aus Music T-Shirt Day (Friday, 20th November).
