Last month, Melbourne post-hardcore act Dream On Dreamer shared the news they were calling it a day after 11 years, announcing fifth and final studio album What If I Told You It Doesn’t Get Better and sharing lead single ‘Feel So Empty’.
Now, the band have followed it up with another single entitled ‘Don’t Disappear’, an introspective look at the decision to end the project after over a decade.
“We have had and always will have the most gracious and supportive fans. We owe them so much and the debt of gratitude we has weighed heavy on our hearts. This song is about how we felt as a band when the vision was ending,” says guitarist and vocalist Zachary Britt.
“We hope these songs and our whole back catalogue will continue to bring hope, understanding and a place to find peace. That is what we have always wanted for the dreamer family, ourselves included.”
