Kylie Minogue recently sent fans into a frenzy with the announcement of her new album, and now she has dropped the record’s lead single ‘Say Something’.
It’s a funky, ethereal, disco-inspired SLAPPER that is a huge departure from the country-pop vibes of her last album, Golden.
The disco-inspired sound is to be expected, though, considering her new album is indeed titled Disco.
“I loved disco as an eight-year-old, so it’s been a long love affair,” she told GQ Magazine earlier this year.
“I’m loving the modern interpretations of the genre now.”
The track premiered on BBC Radio 2 earlier today, with Minogue slyly dropping to host Zoe Ball that a music video for the song would dropping at some point over the next fortnight.
Disco is out Friday, 6th November. For now, revel in the glory that is ‘Say Something’ below.
