It emerged last month that Arcade Fire were planning on releasing a new deluxe edition of their latest album The Suburbs, including two new songs. Those two new songs have been released online.
The two songs are Speaking In Tongues and Culture Wars. The former features Talking Heads man David Byrne indulging in some shouting and some backing vocals.
In other Arcade Fire news, the band’s film Scenes From The Suburbs will get a one-off screening in London next month.
The film, directed by the one and only Spike Jonze, was premiered at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas in March. The film will be screened at a Soho cinema on June 26, the day before The Suburbs is reissued.
That reissue package will include the 30-minute film, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the band.
