Taylor Swift doesn’t often collaborate, but when she does she makes sure it’s only with the most high profile of artists. The next cab off the rank? Drake…maybe.
As pointed out by Complex, Swift graces the cover of this month’s issue of Entertainment Weekly and on the cover lies a potential hint at the collaboration.
Swift dons a denim jacket with a whole stack of pins. One pin shows a screenshot taken from Drake’s infamous ‘Hotline Bling’ and, directly next to it, a pin reads “Track 5.”
While this might seem like a complete coincidence to the untrained eye, Swift is known for leaving little clues about upcoming releases for her fans like this so we could well be seeing both chart toppers join forces this year.
She actually spoke about Drake within the issue of Entertainment Weekly, saying “I love his one liners.”
She also spoke about how Game Of Thrones inspired her latest album, Reputation.
“These songs were half based on what I was going through, but seeing them through a Game of Thrones filter,” she said.
“’Look What You Made Me Do’ is literally Arya Stark’s kill list.”
While Swift might not be slaying any Night King’s anytime soon, it is very likely that this collab with Drake will slay the charts and we’ll never hear the end of it.
Swift kicked off this new album last month with lead single ‘ME!’ with features Panic! At The Disco’s Brendon Urie. Watch that video below.
