The rumours, it seems, are true.
Paramore have reunited with their founding drummer Zac Farro…
…at least for their new album.
Fans first started to flip out over the possibility of a potential reunion when Hayley Williams & co posted an Insty pic of themselves having a bite to eat with Farro and producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen.
They captioned the snap: “eating with people not doing anything special at all”, which of course was more see-through than a CD sleeve.
And now, we have official proof that the band’s catchup with their ex is beyond culinary.
A new photo posted on Twitter alongside the words “Lunch is over//Making an album” shows Farro clearly visible behind the drum kit in Paramore’s studio.
Farro played drums on the band’s first three albums, but left along with his brother Josh back in 2010.
Josh shot down the idea of rejoining the group earlier this year, but it now seems that Zac is back on board for album number five alongside Williams and Taylor York.
Let’s see if he joins them live for the inevitable tour that will no doubt follow!
