Kylie Minogue‘s first Australian tour in more than five years just got even bigger, with the addition of a fast-rising Aussie indie-pop icon. Mallrat has been added as the official support act for all 10 dates on Kylie’sTension tour.
It comes as Mallrat gears up to release her forthcoming album Light hit my face like a straight right on Friday, 14th February and embark on her own headline tour this April.

In addition to those dates, Mallrat will now be warming up arenas for the Aussie princess of pop in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne (three shows), Brisbane (two shows) and Sydney (three shows), kicking off later this month.
Kylie Minogue’s tour comes in honour of her 16th studio album and pop-cultural comeback Tension, and follows the shock cancellation of Splendour In The Grass 2024, which she was supposed to headline.
“I am beyond excited to announce the TENSION TOUR 2025,” the pop icon said in a press statement last year. “I can’t wait to share beautiful and wild moments with fans all over the world, celebrating the Tension era and more! It’s been an exhilarating ride so far and now, get ready for your close up because I will be calling Lights, Camera, Action … and there will be a whole lot of Padaming!”
The massive tour across her home country will kick off her biggest world tour in more than a decade..
