British producer Mark Ronson has today announced he will perform three headlining Australian shows this July, on top of his Sunday night headlining set at Splendour In The Grass 2015.
Ronson is set to play shows in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne following the winter festival, playing songs from his massive fourth album Uptown Special which features the mega hit Uptown Funk.
This will mark Ronson’s second visit to the country this year after he made a short trip in February to play a few exclusive DJ sets.
Ronson’s last festival in Australia was Future Music Festival in 2011 where he played alongside Tame Impala and buddied up with frontman Kevin Parker, who just happens to feature on three tracks of Uptown Special.
It wouldn’t be crazy out of the question to see a live appearance from Parker. Perhaps Kirin J Callinan? Daniel Merriweather? Mark Ronson has a lot of friends.
