Melbourne’s Brunswick Music Festival has put together another diverse lineup for 2018.
Festival organisers announced their new roster today, and it’s brimming with both Australian and international talent as part of a 14-day, 30th anniversary program.
There are plenty of highlights included in the program, including the special International Women’s Day concert which will bring together local musicians Stella Angelico, Sophie Koh, Jessica Hitchcock, The Black Sistaz and Kathleen Halloran for ‘Wild Fearless And Free’.
The festival is also putting on its first ever retrospective, celebrating the songs of Brunswick directed by Xani Kolac (The Twoks). It’s also set to feature Thando, Joshua Tavares, Simon Burke, Kylie Auldist, Sal Kimber and Kavisha Mazzella performing songs by local artists.
On the international front, Masta Ace from the US will be making the trip down under, as will fellow Americans Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. Cuban artist Daymé Arocena and Mauritanian musician Noura Mint Seymali are also locked in.
As per usual, there will also be a street party with The Cactus Channel, Kutcha Edwards and more due to play.
You can check out the entire program here as well as the festival dates below.
