Saturday 15 August will see some of Australia’s finest Afro-Latin musicians hit the stage at The Basement in Sydney!
Powerhouse performer Merenia, will bring her own distinctive Latin-infused soul to the stage in support of Son Veneno. This multitalented, beat throwing musician sings in five languages and has been taking the country by storm with her ability to twist and produce addictive raw sounds from an eclectic array of musical influences. She crafts her sound by using the traditional styles of her ancestry (Maori, Romany Gypsy and Welsh) as a platform for layering hypnotic beats and producing sultry, soaring vocals.
