Back in country for the first time since 2011, Modest Mouse have just announced select sideshows off the back of their appearance at this year’s Bluesfest.
Visiting Sydney and Melbourne, playing The Enmore Theatre on Monday 21st March and the Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday 23rd March, the short tour will unfortunately not make it off the east coast. Sorry anyone in the rest of the country.
Last out for Splendour In The Grass, the indie rock sextet are riding high ahead of their return with singles Lampshades On Fire and Coyotes currently flooding the airwaves.
Taken from the band’s 2015 return to the studio Strangers To Ourselves (the band’s first album in eight years), the singles and the rest of their new material has drawn praise from fans and critics alike. Reaching No. 3 on the Billboard album chart in the US, and No. 15 on the ARIA Album Chart, the band’s return has many excited, with the singles getting lots of love from the j’s and other radio stations.
Being brought out by Frontier Touring, there is also a pre-sale avaialble to FT Members from Wednesday 20th January to Thursday 21st January before tickets go on sale for the public at 12pm Friday 22nd January local time.
Anyway, you can watch the video for Lampshades On Fire here with full tour details included below.
