Its only one week till MUMs 15 bands and 108 hands party but before then we have another diverse lineup for this Friday. MR MAPS are down from Brisbane with their instrumental weirdbutcoolshit. They will be supported by one of the best bands in Syndney right now ARKESTRA, Melbournians WILFRED JACKAL who sound like your next favourite band and July residents INDIGO RISING.
MUM has always put bands on really late into the night and this week we are stepping it up by having FISHING do a set at 3am!
The Bordello on level two is most certain to be seething with people for THE VILLANAIRES and their low-fi surf rock. DAN PARSONS is down from Brisbane on his FIRESTARTER album tour that will leave you humming the headline track for the rest of the weekend and former member of LIGHTS OUT – NICKY VAN BREDA gos it alone to produce a sound akin to BRIGHT EYES.
Then before, in between and after all of the bands there will be more awesome indie DJs than anywhere else including WALKIE TALKIE, JACK SHIT, SWEETIE, VIVIENNE KINGSWOOD, LLOYD, SAMMY K, ELECTRORASH DJs, 10TH AVENUE, FIFIDOESDIDI, 16 TACOS and more.
