Jerk move: Attacking your brother with a guitar. Or a plum.
Case in point: Oasis. The Britpop giants finally came to an end in 2009, when Noel Gallagher claims an argument with Liam about whether the band would be plugging his brother’s fashion line or not ended up in Liam throwing a plum at Noel’s head in a dressing room in Paris, then leaving and returning wielding a guitar like an axe. The brothers haven’t spoken to each other since.
The right way: Disclosure. Or Boards Of Canada. Or Haim. Or any other number of bands made up of siblings that manage to get along. If you’re the kind of family that resolves disagreements by brandishing musical instruments or fruit as weapons, perhaps pop superstardom is not for you.
