Grammy-winning artist and producer Mustard released his new single titled ‘Parking Lot’ which features Travis Scott. After his “Mustard & Friends’’ set at Kendrick Lamar’s “The Pop Out – Ken & Friends” Juneteenth concert at the Kia Forum, he decided to release this single.
The single ‘Parking Lot’ is from Mustard’s fourth studio album, ‘Faith of a Mustard Seed’, set to be released on Friday 26th, July 2024.
Mustard – ‘Parking Lot’
Mustard teased his fans about the release of the track by putting up an Instagram story that had him and Travis standing in the studio together. The last time the duo was heard together was back in 2016 in the single titled ‘Whole Lotta Lovin’.
Mustard, while discussing the record in an interview with Zane Lowe, said that he “needed something that feels like LA but you can play in Houston, you can play wherever you want to play it at, at a BBQ…”.
The track “Parking Lot” has Mustard’s signature West Coast Sound and the Houston touch of Travis Scott. Both these touches make the track an ultimate release and is going to be the song of the summer.
The year 2024, has been an amazing year for the artist as this marks the 10th anniversary of 10 Summers Records. Mustard has mastered the three main domains of the music industry, namely, as a producer, a DJ and also as an artist. Since his debut in 2010, he has had some tremendous success and collaborated with some of the very big names like Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar, Jhene Aiko and many more.
