New Lana Del Rey Song ‘Never Let Me Go’ Appears Online

A previously unreleased Lana Del Rey song has appeared online titled Never Let Me Go, though it’s hard to say whether it’s a new recording or a B-Side from her Born To Die recording sessions. The track is titled Never Let Me Go, and sounds like one of her more downtempo songs (not unlike Video Games).

This isn’t the first unreleased song to leak online in recent months, with two songs appearing back in early April. An unfinished track titled Ride or Die and a full song Lift Your Eyes were both uploaded, and were thought to have come from an upcoming new mixtape, which includes other tracks: Damn You; Hollywood Is Dead; Match Made In Heaven; and You Can Be The Boss.

She released her latest album Born To Die earlier this year, to critical acclaim, but said in an interview shortly afterwards that she wouldn’t want to release another album, just simply saying she’s said everything she’s wanted to say already. Since then she’s collaborated and become associated with various artists, including A$AP Rocky, Tyler The Creator, Marilyn Manson, and more recently Axl Rose.

Lana Del Rey will be appearing on the Splendour in the Grass 2012 lineup in late July, as well as playing her own sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney.
