New York Dreamville Rapper Bas Announces Debut Aussie Headline Show

New York rapper Bas is coming down under for the first time since supporting J. Cole around the country on tour in 2017.

The hip-hopper, who’s signed to Cole’s hyped Dreamville label and recently featured on his acclaimed Revenge of the Dreamers III project, will be playing his debut Aussie headliner in Sydney on Friday, 18th October.

The announcement coincides with the arrival of Bas’s fresh Dreamville EP Spilled Milk Vol. 1, which includes collabs with labelm8s JID, Ari Lennox and Earthgang.

“I’m doing something episodic that I want to keep going in the future,” says Bas.

“When it comes to working on and releasing albums, I want to ensure there’s some growth, that there are some changes stylistically, and generally that’s taken me like two years a pop. But I’m always making music that doesn’t see the light of day, and I want to break that mould. I’m creating a little platform for that and I’m going to use some of these songs.”
