Ngaiire, L-FRESH The Lion & More Team Up For Rock Against Racism Charity Concert

A bunch of talented Aussie musicians are teaming up for an anti-racism charity concert that’s set to take place in Sydney next month.

The first-ever Rock Against Racism show will see Sydney singer-songwriter Ngaiire and rapper L-FRESH The LION — who recently had a music video about racism flooded with racist comments — lead the charge, joined by the likes of hip hop artist B-Wise, singer Thandi Phoenix and Indigenous rapper Kaylah Truth.

Rock Against Racism will take place at Sydney’s Manning Bar on Thursday, 7th December, with all profits going to anti-racism organisation All Together Now, which works to promote racial equality through education.

“We believe everybody needs to have a good understanding of what racism is so that they are empowered to act when they witness it,” says All Together Now Managing Director Priscilla Brice.

“One in five Australians experienced racism over the past year, and we know from research that one way to reduce this statistic is by all of us challenging racism wherever it occurs.”

Rock Against Racism is funded by the New South Wales Government. Catch the full concert lineup alongside ticket details, below.
