Indonesian pop star NIKI has released her brand new single, “Tsunami.” This new track is a single from her highly anticipated third album, Buzz. Touted as the ultimate summer love anthem.
“Tsunami” is this bold capture of the feeling when you fall in love. It likens it to a powerful tidal wave that whisks her off her feet.

NIKI took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the single, calling it “the sweet overwhelming whoosh of falling uncontrollably.” She shared that she wrote and recorded the song in a bathroom while on tour—incredible in showing commitment and drive for the music. When she announced the track on July 11, she said, “I personally love this one so much. It makes me emo every time I listen to it. Feels like freefalling headfirst into water in the warm balmy sun.”
“Tsunami” arrives alongside the release of her previous singles, “Too Much of a Good Thing” and “Blue Moon,” that debuted on May 3 and June 21 respectively. The full album, Buzz, will be available on August 9 and is now available for presave and preorder.
Aside from the new music, NIKI also has some very exciting tour plans. This February 2025, she will bring her world tour to the Philippines for her second solo concert in the country. Her previous show at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City last September 23 as part of her Nicole World Tour easily sold out.
