Nine Inch Nails Set To Reveal New Single ‘Came Back Haunted’ This Week

If there was ever a release that required you to set a reminder in your calendar it would be this one. Come Thursday, 6th June, Nine Inch Nails will be releasing their brand-new single, Come Back Haunted, to radio, in anticipation of the band’s recently announced comeback album.

The first fresh material from NIN in 5 years will be made available to LA radio station KROQ for the tracks first public communication. From there, it will only be a matter of time before Come Back Haunted makes its way online, meaning that the single can be consumed en masse very, very soon.

Director of KROQ Lisa Worden is one of the few people fortunate enough to have already heard the track, explaining, “I think it’s in line with the first two albums. It’s got a great beat, it’s not the experimental material Trent’s done in the last five years.”

Worden added, “I wouldn’t say that it’s dance-y, but it does have a great beat, a groove. Trent really brought it with this song. It’s going to sound amazing to new fans and old. It’s just cool.”

It’s been a rocky start so far for the band, who are coming out of a long hibernation. Having “reinvented itself from scratch”, according to Reznor, NIN has had some internal restructuring, but this obviously hasn’t affected the new album. Fingers crossed they have it sorted for their Lollapalooza show in August.

Other than Come Back Haunted, no other names or titles, or even release dates, for the forthcoming full-length are known.
