With the dust still settling on the news of the White Stripes‘ split, Jack White has revealed he is not going to join any more bands, with The Dead Weather and The Raconteurs sating his appetite.
DIY reports on an interview White gave with British magazine Q, he said,”I won’t join another band again. Three’s enough for one lifetime. If I can’t say it in any of these bands, then I’ll say it by myself.”
The prospect of a White solo album has been floated since the White Stripes ceased to exist a the beginning of February, with the likelihood being that it might be very good. In the mean time, White has recorded a track with Jay-Z, guests on the album Rome by Dangermouse & Daniel Luppi, and is overseeing matters with his record label, Third Man Records.
