Hamish & Andy are currently galavanting across our fair nation as part of their Cool Boys And The Front Man tour. The concept is simple, yet brilliant — each show, the Cool Boys are joined by a different and noteworthy vocalist, and of course hilarity ensues.
One of the latest stop offs went down in the small New South Wales town of Rankins Springs, where the Cool Boys were joined by none other than Australian icon Shannon Noll.
Flanked by Hamish & Andy on drums and bagpipes respectively, Nollsie tackled the classic AC/DC track It’s A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock And Roll), but not before The Cool Boys legit took credit for the unofficial anthem, claiming to be “taking it back” from Acca Dacca.
Earlier in the tour, The Cool Boys were joined by The Veronicas, who also tackled the AC/DC classic at Wedonga Catholic College’s year 10 formal. However, as Hamish & Andy listeners know, the *real* reason for the tour is pretty much so that the boys have an excuse to live it up in a wonderfully over-the-top tour bus.
Watch them perform with Nollsie on a cover of Acca Dacca, below.
