Sydney metalcore lads Northlane have announced a national tour in support of their latest album Mesmer, which they surprise-dropped back in March.
Marcus Bridge and co. are currently taking the record on a world tour, which will return to Australia this October for dates in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Brisbane.
The band’s upcoming Aussie jaunt, which kicks off on 19th October, will also include a set at Wollongong’s Yours & Owls Festival. Catch all the tour dates and ticket details, below.
Northlane last toured nationally in May 2016, and since then they’ve undergone a bit of a shift in their sound, which hasn’t been received well by some.
“We don’t really care,” Northlane guitarist Josh Smith told Music Feeds earlier this year, in response to backlash from fans of their earlier work.
“We wanna push ourselves as musicians and artists and I think – if you’re not pissing anyone off when you release a record – you’re just gonna fall into the void of anonymous bands who’ve just done the same thing over and over again. Not taking anything away from that, but it’s not who we are.”
