Wollongong has had its New Year’s Eve plans sorted, with Yours & Owls presenting their annual NYE At North Gong festivities at the titular North Wollongong Hotel. A mix of bands, artists and DJs will descend upon the venue to see out the year on Tuesday, December 31st – the full line-up of which can be found below, along with all necessary ticketing information.
Headlining the festival are Brisbane electronic pop band Cub Sport, who will play the city for the first time in over five years following their appearance at the 2018 Yours & Owls festival. Other marquee acts appearing at North Gong will include veteran dance duo Bag Raiders, hometown heroes The Vanns and pop singer-songwriter Eves Karydas.
Cub Sport – ‘Always Got The Love’
Although the normal Yours & Owls festival will not be going ahead as usual next month, organisers have assured that the festival will go ahead in 2025. Furthermore, a “pre-party” will take place at the University of Wollongong on Saturday, October 12th. Peking Duk will headline the party, in one of their only shows together for 2024, as well as Golden Features and Alice Ivy.
