Olivia Dean To Perform In Sydney For One Night Only In November 2025

Mark your calendars and maybe pack some Kleenex: Olivia Dean is heading to Sydney for one night only this November for an intimate show on the glittering shores of the Harbour.

The British soul-pop songwriter will perform ‘An Evening At The Steps’ on Wednesday, 20th November, bringing her dreamy vocals and diaristic lyrical charm to the most picturesque stage in town – outdoors at Mrs Macquaries Point.

Presented by Handsome Tours, Laneway Presents, Fuzzy, and Botanic Gardens of Sydney, the show coincides with a huge new chapter for Dean. Following her stunning 2023 debut Messy, she’s racked up Mercury Prize shortlists, three BRIT Award noms, and has just been tapped to soundtrack the new Bridget Jones movie (Mad About The Boy).

Her upcoming sophomore album The Art of Loving (out this September) promises to zoom in even further on her raw, thoughtful pop songwriting – exploring the everyday, imperfect magic of connection.

“I think there’s a whole spectrum of how you can have relationships with people in your life and still make them really meaningful and honest,” she explains. “But that’s a new thing for me, to be honest.”

After playing Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage and Jools Holland’s Hootenanny, Olivia Dean’s Sydney debut promises a quieter, more intimate moment of reflection – the kind of gig experience that’s likely to live rent-free in your heart for a long time.
