Origin NYE Festival has a new venue, and to celebrate the Perth event has added two new acts to its impressive bill of artists, meaning there will be even more tunes to help bring in the new year.
Last month, City Of Perth rejected the plans of Origin NYE organisers, forcing them to look for another venue after being denied use of East Perth’s Wellington Square.
Taking to Facebook this morning, Origin NYE organisers revealed the that the festival will now be held at Paterson Stadium in Subiaco & Kitchener Park.
Chase & Status and MC Rage have also been added to the Origin NYE 2014 bill, and will join previously announced acts including AlunaGeorge, Baauer, Danny Brown, Hudson Mohawke, Nina Las Vegas, Norway’s Cashmere Cat and Montreal’s Kaytranada.
Organisers have thanked punters for their patience while the new venue was being secured, and have promised that even more event details will arrive tomorrow, Wednesday, 10th December.
