Melbourne based singer-songwriter and producer Oscar Key Sung has announced he will be heading out for a run of live performances as he road tests his new material at a venue near you. With a full-length album expected in 2014, and overwhelming approval from media, this will be a rare chance to catch the rising star before the rest of the great unwashed does.
At 23, Key Sung has already compiled a fairly impressive resume. Receiving the nod of approval from international tastemarkers not just for his vibrant productions, but also for his high octane live performances. In fact, Oscar has been a no brainer choice for many high profile support slots including St Vincent, Four Tet, Metronomy and Gotye. Following his own headlining shows, Key Sung will be hitting the road in support of Ghostpoet.
So far, Key Sung has had two promotional singles It’s Coming and Sure Thing score high rotation on triple j and his work on Ghostpoet and MeLo-X’s collaboration EP WecanWORKitout has been an absolute hit amongst fans as well. All signs are pointing to a monster of a full-length from the young musician who should have no problem wowing audiences at the below dates.
