Owl City aka. Adam Young is bringing his “melodically infectious” tunes back down under for a series of headline performances this November. 2010 saw Young reach our shores for the first time, in support of Cobra Starship, and since then he’s supported John Mayer and Maroon 5 on their American tours.
This time around, he’s bringing his very own headline shows to bear on Australian audiences, with a live show we’re assured is dynamic and exciting. Support for all shows will be provided by fellow Americans The Album Leaf.
The Album Leaf, signed to Sub Pop Records, is the solo project of Jimmy LaValle, a San Diego-based songwriter. La Valle constructs his music in an eclectic manner, utilizing everything from ambient noise, field recordings and radio transmissions. Inspired by classical, jazz and post rock genres he’s recorded five full length albums.
Frontier Members pre-sale commences Thursday 24th June, 2pm AEST. General public tickets are on sale Tuesday 29th June from 9.00am local time.
